Jools Holland: ... to the studio, ladies and gentlemen.

Holland: Now the first thing I think that the public wants to know is, what happened with Guns N’ Roses really?
 
Slash: You know, everybody keeps asking that. I just left. Basically, that was it. So I left Axl to do whatever, and he’s still doing it. The rest of us quit, so that’s that. You have to ask him about what the future of the Guns N’ Roses thing is.
 
Holland: In that case, if and when I see him, I shall. Was it amicable, your leaving him?
 
Slash: Um, no, it wasn’t really amicable, but it was sort of inevitable. This is a better way of putting it, you know (laughs).
 
Holland: Fair enough.
