I finally have a car where I can stream music from my phone, so this summer I have been treating my family to GN'R on Spotify, with mixed result, inbetween children's radio (which is surprisingly good combining rock music, children songs, modern pop music, stories, and discussions).

He had to have a heart surgery (valve replacement) and the Rolling Stones U.S tour was postponed. But he's doing well now.

Yes, very sad. I remember listening to Bubblegum for the first time. I bought the record after a glowing review I read in the newspaper. That day I was in exactly the right mood for that music. I had a bottle of red wine, was alone in my apartment, it was dark outside. I got hooked. Immediately bought his first record and since then he has been a favorite of mine. I think I only have 5-6 playlists on Spotify, Lanegan is one of them.

This is a track from 1981 solo album by Finnish rock n' roller Pete Malmi (1960-2007). This one and a handful of other songs on the album has Andy McCoy on guitar

This album, Marquee Moon by Television, is among my favourite albums of all time. I'm grateful to the person who recommended it to me many years ago.
