I came across this little notice in San Bernandino Sun, October 4, 1986:

Guns N' Roses featured on "LA Night Life" in 1986? Uten_n47

'L.A. Night Life' was, I believe, a TV show. So there could be extremely early footage of the band in studio, either being interviewed or playing.

It was owned by the organization of a guru, but in October 1986 -- the time of this program -- it had been acquired by its general manager and an investor. Perhaps a show with an upcoming, locally popular rock band, was meant to attract new viewers?

I have been racking my brain trying to figure out an approach to finding this interview, but most likely it is long gone now, unless Izzy or Axl has a taped copy of it somewhere.
