Dear Fellow Conspirators:
 
We have released our new albums, “Use Your Illusion I and II.” It has been a long time coming and we want to thank all the GN’R fans who have stuck with us through it all!!!
 
You guys are the reason we keep on keepin’ on! You drive us! You rock us! The receptions that we’ve received all around the world have been amazing. There cannot by any fans as outrageous as the ones we’ve seen on the road.
 
We hope you’ll like what you hear on the albums. There’s something there for everyone. This was truly a labor of love and is a closer look at what we’re all about. You’ll be hearing the contents of our hearts and souls. We’re really proud of this effort and we’re anxious to hear what you think. Please write and tell us.

TOUR
 
LOS ANGELES SHOWS
 
The guys closed out the first leg of their North America tour in their hometown, Los Angeles, by selling out four shows at the Great Western Forum as soon as tickets went on sale.
 
Of course, playing in Los Angeles is always special since they struggled so hard for acceptance there and that’s where everything has happened for them – good and bad!
 
For the opening, the band was supercharged. It was their first time playing an arena in Los Angeles – AND – they had just had completed the mixing and mastering of “Use Your Illusion I & II.” The third night, Axl came down with a stomach flu, but still went on and gave a killer performance lasting two and a half hours. The last night was pure magic as the Gunners played a crushing three hour and thirty six minute show. Their longest to date!
 
EUROPEAN SHOWS
 
GN’R were treated to a very warm reception in Europe where they played to several sold out audiences. Opening for them were Skid Row and Nine Inch Nails. GN’R felt they gave their best performance ever in Stockholm Sweden! In Mannheim Germany they played to 60,000 fans. That show was only topped by the 72,000 Guns fans that attended the Wembley Stadium show in London, England! You may have caught part of the show as MTV carried the band’s fired up version of Paul McCartney’s classic “Live And Let Die” on the Music Video Awards.
 
PLAYTIME
 
While the guys were on tour in Europe, they took a brief vacation n the Island of Ibezia in Spain. While there:
 
- Axl took time to relax and get some much needed sleep... on the beach.
- Slash decided to rent a 32 foot sailboat which turned into quite a party.
- Duff and Matt spent their time waterskiing.
 
At the end of each day, everyone returned to the hotel bar to spend time with their favorite bartender, Dizzy who spent his summer vacation tending bar in a hotel in Spain.

Clearly there was only one winner of the photo look-alike contest. We’re sure you’ll all agree that this one’s a heart warmer. Cicero Augusto, Micael and Maria Augusto Holderbaum of Sao Paulo Brazil will get a t-shirt and one years membership in CONSPIRACY, INC.

Omar I. wants to know why it is that Izzy isn’t interviewed by reporters and why wasn’t he in the T2 video?
Well Omar, it was because Izzy was out of town for the filming.
 
Josh B. wants to know if Slash still rides a bike and wants to know what kind?
Yes! It’s a freestyle BMX that he takes on the road. Slash also collects classic Corvettes.
 
Chris C. wants to know what kind of equipment is used by Slash and Izzy?
Slash uses Gibson reissued models of old vintage guitars and Izzy uses Fenders and Gibsons.
 
Debbie Z. wants to know what the guys take on the road with them.
The guys travel with a full gym complete with stairmaster and free weights. Izzy brings his mountain bikes... Axl takes his Piolet off road dirt dog... Duff never leaves home without his water ski... and then there are endless video games and more stereo equipment that you would ever think possible.
