Wrapping Christmas gifts in a room with three 7 year olds, listening to them playing nicely which more and more revolves around boyfriends. Drinking a really bad Croatian white wine yet feeling very content and at peace with life.

I really love this lazy Saturdays. I wake up around 6 am and sneak out of bed. With no work to do today I poured myself a class of coke and went down to my home office to work on the history section. It is a beautiful start of the day. Then a little while later my kids get up and come down to join me, sitting in the nearby couch watching TV and playing games on their phones. Just a calm, lazy start of the day.

It is not painful at all but I am not sure how I am going to get into long trousers for a meeting later today. It's too cold for shorts now.

Working on a presentation while in quarantine. Returned from Germany yesterday so now I have to stay away from people for 10 days. Unless I develop symptoms, then it can be longer.

Woke up at 4am this morning and thought this was going to be an early morning, but actually fell asleep again and slept until 7am. Can't remember the last time I slept that long. Now I am grinding down an old kitchen table that I am going to oil afterwards to get a bit darker color to go with our newly renovated kitchen. If it works out, we'll buy new chairs for the kitchen next week.

Thanks. I like it too, it's very functional. We cook a lot, so a good kitchen was prioritized. We have two ovens, extra broad cooking top and a table that can be extended to accommodate 12 persons. Perfect for dinner parties. We have also two sections with kitchen benches, one for bread and dry foods, and one for dinner and more wet foods. Like kitchen zones for food preparation. And the renovated table is shown there, we made it darker than it was. Now I just need to replace the kitchen chairs.

Yes, I assumed it was the table. I'm a little jealous for the kitchen, I don't have one like that. It is very nice that there are many things and that you cook in it all the time. The kitchen is an important place in a home. We will come to visit you, one day in the future ... :-))

Just came back from a boat trip with my family. We are vacationing at the place where I grew up. Haven't been in a boat here in 30 years - great to take my kids out to see the shore and islands. Now I 'm enjoying a beer and resting my knee that is busted and needs surgery.
