September 29 [7:55 EDT] -- Gilby Clarke's aptly-titled description of his life post Guns N' Roses, "The Hangover," has finally made it to American shores.

The album has been available overseas for months but it was only released on the Paradigm label in the States this week. In addition to Clarke originals, it includes covers of The Beatles' "Happiness Is A Warm Gun" and David Bowie's "Hang Onto Yourself." Guests include Clem Burke (Blondie), Eric Singer (KISS, Mr. Big), Waddy Wachtel (Keith Richards, Tom Waits), and Kyle Vincent and Ryan Roxie from Clarke's former band, Candy.

Clarke has put together a live band that includes Singer and Roxy. Their tour will most likely start in Texas October 22 and last through November. Clarke was rumored to be touring with former guitarist Slash--both were advertised as appearing on at least three dates together--but Slash's manager Tom Maher says his client was never booked. Clarke's manager Mike Hall says the dates were special all star jam sessions, and his client was originally scheduled to appear but "he went home" when the organizers began wrongly promoting Slash.

The perceived pairing of Slash and Clarke, combined with Slash's recent comments in the press about wanting to put together a band with "former" G n' R bassist Duff McKagan, had fans speculating that Guns N' Roses might reform without Axl Rose. The rumor was fueled two weeks ago when fans were treated to a rare gathering of three ex-members on stage at Clarke's show at Billboard Live in L. A. Clarke was joined by Slash and former drummer Steven Adler.

"It wasn't a planned thing," Slash manager Tom Maher reports. "Slash didn't intend to play but Gilby called him up at the end of the show. Then Steven asked if he could play, and he got up there. It was no big deal, one song, I don't even know which one."

Mike Hall points out the Billboard performance wasn't a reunion. "Gilby wasn't in the band at the same time Steven was, they never played together." Adler left the band in 1990, a year before Clarke was recruited to replace Izzy Stradlin. Clarke left in 1995.

The current status of Guns N' Roses is unknown. The only confirmed member appears to be Axl Rose.
