Slash: Well, I’ve been back in Guns N’ Roses for the last three weeks. So we’re just, like – just writing stuff and reacquainting each other, with each other.

Interviewer: How is Axl these days? Is he, you know, ready to come back?

Slash: He’s healthy (laughs).

Interviewer: He’s healthy.

(Laughter)

Interviewer: And he’s ready?

Slash: No, he’s fine. I mean, we really haven’t gotten to the point – I mean, first thing first is to do an album and finish that. And then the touring plans come later.

Did Slash say more in this particular interview than this? If so, it's strange that none of that material has surfaced. I also of course mostly know this particular interview for the fact it was used in the MTV News report that came out after Axl's fax.

I suppose he did say more. Probably an extended version of the interview was aired on another MTV program, but only this segment that was used on the MTV News reports in USA, Brazil and probably elsewhere, has survived/surfaced so far.

I believe this is not MTV Brazil as the subtiitles are in Spanish

Right! Thanks for pointing out.

Looking into it in wikipedia, it must have been the version of MTV in Spanish/MTV Latin America.

I have changed the title.
