Ah, I see we already have Blast! April 1989 (it's the one that has only pictures), so I edited the post above.

Where did you find these? Are they on eBay? I looked but couldn't find all of them (and some of those I found were too expensive to buy).

I will be going to San Francisco later this month. I will see if I can find a store that sells old magazines. Maybe I can find some treasures.

I found most on ebay, except Alternative Press that I found on abebooks. But, like you said, they're mostly expensive or the shipping is too much.

Blast! August 1989 I just found the image of the cover; I haven't seen it sold anywhere.

Some of these are newer and might be in our database already. I found them cheap in a store in San Francisco so I just picked them up regardless.

In this online chat from December 1996 (https://www.a-4-d.com/t627-1996-12-17-online-chat-with-duff-mostly-about-the-neurotic-outsiders) Duff mentions being pissed off by something written in Rolling Stone that would imply he had to follow Axl's order. That sounds intriguing. It doesn't seem like we have this article, which likely was published in late 1996.

In this article: https://www.a-4-d.com/t2934-1998-09-dd-guitar-paradise-city it is mentioned that Izzy did two interview in connection with the release of 117 degrees. We need them. The article does contain quotes from Izzy that I suppose were taken from these two interviews.

I found this from another source and bought it. As far as I can tell, the interview with Axl is a compilation of quotes from older interviews by Beth Nussbaum in other magazines (Rock Scene, mainly), which we already have.
There is also an interview with Robert Williams talking about the cover art of Appetite For Destruction.

This blog entry sheds some light on interviews the band did while in Tokyo in December 1988. Gives us an idea of some missing interviews.

This Izzy quote about him playing at the Hard Rock Hotel on March 10, 1995 is not from one of the interviews that we have in the database:

"I returned to Los Angeles after Duff's phone call: "Hey man, you come back, we'll play for the opening of a new casino in Las Vegas. It's me who's handling the roster. There'll be Iggy Pop, Bo Diddley, B.B. King, etc." I answered him "Whoaa! When do you want me to find you over there? If I can play with Bo or B.B., I'll come." He called me back the next day: "Izzy, you're going to accompany Bo and B.B. at the same time." How could I have refused that offer? I so went there and I took my place".

I remember when we were discussing it in relation to this history chapter, @Soulmonster, and you said that the information about Izzy at the Hard Rock Hotel was in a later source.

I couldn't find anything about the interview it is from.

I've also realized that we don't have the interview this Izzy quote is from (it's from an interview with an unidentified French magazine in 2001):

"In April, 1995, Duff calls me again: 'I'm trying to compose new songs for the guys in GN'R. Come and give me a hand.' It made five [years] that I'd left Guns but I said myself: 'Well shit, after all, why not?' Duff and I wrote ten songs in the space of week. We even recorded them as demos."

The two quotes seem to be from the same interview. I think it is likely an interview with Rock Hard magazine (French edition), summer 2001 issue. It is listed in the articles section of this old Izzy fan site ("Methanol"), but unfortunately this particular article is not accessible:

NEWgnrOLDgnr's interview with Brain from July 18, 2010, is missing after I failed to save it locally. It was originally posted on the now defunct newgnr.com. I have done some searches without any success.

I found an interview by ManetsBR with Brain from the exact same date and at first I thought they were identical, but that can't be right because I know Brain was asked about Dj Ashba in the interview by NEWgnrOLDgnr, and he isn't in the interview by ManetsBR.

I have ordered a bunch of old articles now. About 10. I have received about half of them already. I have also used Fiverr to see if I can find someone to translate the 1989 Burrn article from Japanese to English for us.

The interview was indeed published in the aforementioned issue of Rock Hard magazine. I found and bought the online version of the magazine, and here it is:
