Guns N' Joneses
Axl Rose and Tom Jones stumble out of boozed-fuelled party at 6am after noise officials called to break up bash

The Guns N' Roses singer led the hell-raising in the early hours at celeb hotspot Chiltern Firehouse following a gig at London Stadium

By Stephen Moyes

A BOOZE-fuelled party with Guns N’ Roses rocker Axl Rose and veteran singer Tom Jones broke up at 6am after noise officials were called to shut it down.

The celeb bar hosting the bash officially closed at 3am but wildman Axl, Tom, 77, and other stars were still downing drinks hours later.

Two council noise officers arrived to try to call time at about 4.30am after complaints from neighbours.

But it was another hour and a half before the revellers, who also included Kate Moss’s ex-hubby Jamie Hince, finally stumbled out of the venue.

US megastar Axl, 55, led the hell-raising in the early hours of Sunday in a bar at the Chiltern Firehouse luxury hotel and restaurant in central London.

He and his band had belted out classics such as 1988 hits Paradise City and Sweet Child o’ Mine at a heaving London Stadium gig on Saturday night.

The booze then flowed as celebs at the party watched US boxing world champ Andre Ward’s victory in his televised clash with Russian Sergey Kovalev.

A source said: “The music was pumping.

“There was screaming, with boozy celebs cheering the fight from Las Vegas, which didn’t start until 4.20am UK time.

“Axl was rooting for the US fighter and wasn’t happy about noise complaints. It wasn’t very rock ’n roll.

“The bar manager tried to argue it was a private party.

“The Westminster council officials were made to wait outside by security.

“Management eventually turned the music off but the shouting continued.”

The Chiltern Firehouse did not respond to calls for comment.

London officials were forced to shut down Axl Rose and Tom Jones’ raging bar party at 6:00 a.m.

The two music legends partied like the rock stars that they are

It’s not unusual to hear that Axl Rose likes to party, but what is surprising is the all-night company that he keeps.

Over the weekend, the Guns N’ Roses frontman was living it up at a bar at London’s Chiltern Firehouse with none other than Las Vegas legend Tom Jones. Rose and the 77-year-old (!) Jones partied like rock stars on Sunday until about 6 a.m., when city officials were forced to shut down the entire affair on account of noise complaints.

These Westminster council officials had actually arrived earlier in the evening, but Rose, 55, and his group of pals — which included Jamie Hince of The Kills — refused to quit swilling the booze and leave the premises. Perhaps next time Rose should invite the Foo Fighters, who also know a thing or two about ragin’ on well after the plug’s been pulled.

London council shut down Axl Rose and Tom Jones party at 6am

Stars were among guests at Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone last Sunday (June 18)

By Luke Morgan Britton

A London party attended by Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose and Tom Jones was shut down by local council officials at 6am, according to reports.

The Sun reports that the two stars were among guests at Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone last Sunday (June 18). The party had been intended to finish at 3am but two council noise officers reportedly arrived at 4.30am following complaints from neighbours, with guests eventually leaving the venue at 6am.

The report suggests guests had been watching the fight between US boxer Andre Ward and Russia’s Sergey Kovalev. “The music was pumping. There was screaming, with boozy celebs cheering the fight from Las Vegas,” a source told the paper. “Axl was rooting for the US fighter and wasn’t happy about noise complaints. It wasn’t very rock ’n roll.”

Other guests reportedly include The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince.

Guns N’ Roses had performed a show at London Stadium on the Saturday night (June 17), their first London show with their classic line-up in 24 years.

Meanwhile, Guns N’ Roses are planning a new album, according to guitarist Richard Fortus, who has described it as “too good not to happen”.

The classic rock group reunited with original members Slash and Duff McKagan for the first time in two decades last year. The band haven’t released an album since 2008’s infamously delayed ‘Chinese Democracy’, while Slash and McKagan haven’t featured on a GnR record since 1993’s ‘The Spaghetti Incident?’.
