ABOUT THE PLECTRA SYSTEM

In addition to counting each member's post Appetite For Discussion has a point system, affectionately named the "plectra system", which more precisely shows each member's contributions to the forum. Plectra is given to members for their activity on the forum and may be exchanged for certain benefits (described in detail below).

HOW TO OBTAIN PLECTRA

Plectra is awarded to members for the following actions:

New thread/post in the GN'R news section: +100/+5
New thread/post in the GN'R rumours section: +50/+5
New thread/post in the remaining GN'R sections: +10/+5
New thread/post in the A4D Q&A section: +10/+5
New thread/post in the Breakout Sessions section: +2/+1
New thread/post in the Support and Troubleshooting section: +10/+2
Profile messages: +1 plectrum per message
Friends: +1 plectrum per friend
Days since registration: +1 point per day
Recruiting a new member: +100 points per recruitment

HOW TO SPEND PLECTRA

Plectra may be exchanged by PM-ing the administrator. Sufficient plectra will then be automatically subtracted. In addition to getting whatever you choose to buy with the plectra, you will be given a special medal which will be shown in your profile.

Plectra may as of today be exchanged for the following benefits:

Access to VIP area (subject to Admin's discretion): 10.000 plectra
Custom rank badge (to be displayed underneath your normal rank badge): 10.000 plectra
Colored nickname: 5.000 plectra
Buy a blog on AFD: 5.000 plectra
Free beer (or canned beef) if ever meeting the admin: 1.000 plectra
