Hehe, I was going through interviews and just thought I would look more into it. I have a word document now with every GN'R interview, so it is simple to extract such data. And funny.
But yeah, slow times. Not right now, then. With all the new shows announced.

Haha, believe it or not, I was wondering about when Slash started saying this in public speech. From browsing the interviews I thought it made its first appearance in 1991 - I hadn't noticed he had used it in 1988, too
I had also noticed that it became more frequent when the band started to fall apart and I wonder if there is a connection. I guess it makes more appearances post-1996.
So the conclusion might be that it's not a good sign when Slash uses this phrase too often

I also think he has been using it more and more after 1996, and these days it seems he uses it in every interview. I think it has just become a quirk of his, something he says without thinking. Like "you know".

I guess all three of 2000 were in the same interview

Yep. For annoying reasons, whenever a journalist gets to edit Slash's replies, that phrase seems to be edited out. It is much more frequent in video transcripts.

I just learnt that Slash even wrote a song with Snakepit called "All Things Considered"! He mentions it here: https://www.a-4-d.com/t5252-2000-12-25-classic-rock-mr-brownstone-slash#21120
That's hilarious!

By the way:
From the translated interview with the French magazine Hard Rock (Oct. 2000)
https://www.a-4-d.com/t4625-2000-10-dd-hard-rock-france-slashs-snakepit-for-the-love-of-art
Slash: Not so much actually. All in all, I was only a fifth of Guns N’Roses.
The text in French:
Slash: Pas tant que ça. Tout bien considéré, je n'étais qu'un cinquième de Guns n' Roses.
https://slash.gnrfrance.net/presse-interviews-slash/entretiens-slash-2000-08-04-69.htm
So he said it there and it was saved in the French translation but it was lost in the English translation of the translation. I think it counts
