According to the "media crew" at mygnrforum, this info was given to the admin there:

As previous reports have loosely alluded to, the band will once again embark on a period of touring. Starting in Mexico during mid-March, GNR will pursue a full South American Tour.

If you're elsewhere in the globe however, fear not, because Guns N' Roses will also be hitting parts of the US. This will include a highly-anticipated return to the location of last year's residency - VEGAS.

Furthermore, hold off on labelling this as further pointless touring. We can also exclusively reveal that the band are planning to present 2 to 3 new songs during next year's touring.

But there's more...

A lot more. While we aren't at liberty to divulge any further, MyGNR encourages you to approach 2014 with a clear sense of optimism.

If this will come true, many fans would be happy. Hope Fernando & Co. will make an official announcement soon (he has promised to post some news anyway, hasn't he?). Smile

I would be happy if they debuted some new songs, not so happy for prioritizing touring before working on a new record, though. I also heard they would attempt to get 2-3 songs ready, which suggests they are not thinking about old material from the CD sessions, which is a bit disappointing since it should be easy to prepare songs like Atlas for live playing.

As usual I am cautious optimistic.

Guns N' Roses posted about the FIFA World Cup in soccer which will take place in Brazil in June and July 2014. I bet GN'R will be there, too.

But if they already start in March in South America, Brazil in June/July seems a bit far fetched..

Some new songs would be nice. Touring I could only favour for another stint in Europe, selfish bastard as I am Wink

From manets at mygnrforum:

- Brazil: the brazilian leg will lbe in April, lasting from 10 to 12 days, with concerts in 5 capitals. São Paulo concert will be on the Anhembi Arena (same place Guns N' Roses played on 1992) or the Palmeiras Stadium (same place as 2010). Porto Alegre concert will be at the FIERGS Park, same place as 2010.

- Argentina: April 11th and 12th on La Plata (Unico Stadium) and Rosario (Salon Metropolitano).

- Paraguay: April 09th on Asuncion, on a wide open place, probably the Jockey Club.

- Chile: March 29th @ Movistar Arena

- The promoter is again, Time For Fun, one of the biggest in the world.

I think the full tour dates and infos are getting out this week, let's see.

I put this down as FALSE, too, under the premise that "new songs" are supposed to be new, original GN'R songs and not new covers or old songs played for the first time in a while.

I noticed that members at mygnrforum blame GN'R for lying about new songs being played. I am a little reluctant to do that when I don't know whether it was the band on someone close to the band who told the admins at mygnrforum that new songs would be played. For all I know whatever source they have is not credible at all. So I guess the lesson is, don't trust us admins Wink
