I am trying to figure out when this happened. I know he got in a fight with people who called him Bon Jovi back in December 1987, but this was at the Hyatt in Chicago: https://www.a-4-d.com/t4956-08-1987-1988-touring-and-success#19083

Then I know he got in a fight in France in 1990, but it doesn't mention Axl being called Bon Jovi: https://www.a-4-d.com/t4989-11-1990-moving-forward-with-a-new-lineup#19363

Hotel de Crillon is presumably the one in Paris, so maybe it last time, or it could be at any time "several years" before 2010 when the band was playing in the Paris area, it doesn't have to have ended in a fight
