AXL ROSE OUGHTA BE IN PICTURES—SOMEDAY

Recent reports in Hollywood trade papers and elsewhere made it sound as if rocker Axl Rose wanted to make that great leap from concert stage to acting in movies. Not true—with a qualifier—says Rose’s spokesperson. “Philosophically, Axl is intrigued” by the idea of becoming an actor, says the rep, “but practically speaking, it’s very far down the road.” Rose doesn’t even have a movie agent, according to the rep, though this hasn’t prevented unsolicited scripts with “bad-guy rock person” parts meant for Axl from piling up at the Guns N’ Roses office in L.A. Adds the rep: “Axl hasn’t read any of them.”
