Interesting fan mixes using backwards tracking on Blood in the Water. The others may be song sketches or sonic doodling by someone - who knows. I have the feeling we'll be hearing new official releases from GNR, maybe from a live stage first - I don't mind that at all.

I gave in and listened to Blood in the Water after I told myself that this time I would not in any circumstance listen to any leaks. I'm glad it sounds like a fake, it served as a good reminder that I should wait for the final version or real songs and not ruin the experience.

I listened to CD leaks, too, but don't regret it. If I knew the record was imminent I probably would have waited, but with the farce that was the release of CD, with release dates going on for a decade, I caved in.

That's the thing indeed. I never listen to leaks of albums I'm going to buy anyway, but with Chinese Democracy it always remained a big question mark if it ever was going to be released. With a new album, it is more likely, but still quite unclear if anything will come out in 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years or longer..
In short: I listened. If we get an official release date with statement, I'll stop listening.

I heard it is just more of the same (an extended version of the short clip we have heard before), with no additional lyrics. I am not a huge fan of the short version so I will just pass. I am not really interested in Brain's remixes.

The solo sounds also as some altered version of the Prostitute solo. It's not bad, but like this the vocals are very monotone and also not particularly good. The drum rhythm is another thing I don't like too much. It gets a bit of an r&b feel and that can't be good news.

It is just a remix from Brain. I don't think it is necessarily meant to sound like GN'R. Just whatever cool thing Brain could make out of it.
