“Atlas Shrugged” Leaks Online Apparently & More Unreleased “Chinese Democracy’ Material Surfaces

A new topic at the Guns N’ Roses fan forum MyGNRForum discussed the unreleased material from the band during the “Chinese Democracy” sessions and a 3 second clip of the song “Atlas Shrugged” has leaked online. I have heard the snippet and it’s difficult to say much about the song since I haven’t heard the whole thing. But, there have been some interesting posts on the forum with one fan (AxlRoseFan4Life) saying there is tons of unreleased leaks out there:

There is a ton of stuff that is out there that hasn’t leaked! Over 15 cds from Chinese sessions have been found in some geffen executive storage locker. The gnr stuff in locker was sold to a fan who has all this stuff. Tracks include Perhaps ( 3rd Brain May song ),  zodiac , hard school ( u know it as checkmate ), Oklahoma, atlas,  billionaire, 3 dollar pyramid, and all of afd re recorded and so much more.

He would go onto say

I’ve heard a clip. Not sure what the board members wants for it tho. I’ve tried reaching out no reply. I’ve spoken to the guy who originally purchased the locker and got a lot of info from him. There isn’t really nothin to trade for it cuz it’s the mother load.

The recordings are apparently from a studio called “The Village”

Only a few people have been involved with it which I’m not gonna reveal any names but it’s a small circle. The cds are from recording sessions at The Village

He would go onto say

Zutaut (formerly worked on Chinese Democracy in 2001) had two lockers. One locker contained UYI dat tapes. The second locker contained Chinese tracks recorded at the village pre bucket. The 15 cds are not just full songs. Example one cd had various drum tracks and guitar tracks. There are a lot of instrumentals. Only about 15 songs have actual lyrics. In fact the way this was found out was because for a short time 1 cd appears on eBay. But was removed when the board member from this part purchased it and then bought the rest of them

He would go onto say

both lockers were sold! The uyi tapes was sold to a group of collectors who chipped in. But it’s nothin real special because they sound just like the final versions. Locker 2 with Chinese stuff was sold to 1 person and that person is a member of this board. They refuse to talk tho which is understandable. I know who all buyers are. I’ve spoken to the original person who bought locker which Chinese stuff! He isn’t a gnr fan so he didn’t realize value of what he had

The same poster said the following to a question another poster had:     “This is awesome. Interesting they are all pre Bucket, though. I wonder if songs like Atlas, General, etc are included in the 15”

Not general that was during buckets time. But atlas, thyme, zodiac ( 2 versions ), hard school, perhaps, going down ( tommy only ), Oklahoma, the rebel, appetite re recorded, dummy ,  billionaire ,

More Photos of the Leaked Demos/Instrumentals Find Their Way Online!

We previously reported about the leaked photo of some Guns N’ Roses instrumentals/demos from the “Chinese Democracy” years dating as far back at 1998-2000. Today a few more images of these CD’s have emerged. Check them out below! You’ll notice some of the new song names we hadn’t previously heard. Keep in mind these could just be working titles.

Guns N’ Roses Stunning New Album Finally Leaks

Photos of unreleased Guns N’ Roses demos from the Chinese Democracy era have surfaced online, with many songs that have been a secret for years. A couple of short clips have also surfaced, but we will obviously not be sharing those. There have been rumors that Axl Rose may rework songs from this era for the new Guns N’ Roses album, so you never know of they might reappear in the future. The first CD cover mentions the songs “Prom Violence” and “Three Dollar Pyramid” as two new song titles. Tracklisting for other discs also were on the discs, with some brutal working titles!

Guns N’ Roses Fan Forums Appear to Be Disappointed Over the Lack of Leaks Over the Weekend

If you guys have been following the saga this weekend with 15 possible CD’s worth of material leaking, you can rest disappointed as it appears nothing will be leaking at least in the immediate future. In total there were three songs that leaked: Atlas Shrugged (1:16 second clip and 3 second clip), Hardschool (0:23 second clip aka Checkmate)and a Sweet Child of Mine 2017 Rehearsal Clip from the “Not in This Lifetime Tour”

The 2009 and 2017 rehearsals were obviously from a different source, unrelated to the leaks.

Since there were no reports in the media at the time about the leaks, aside from the Alternative Nation article above (and a later one from September, when the Village sessions started leaking massively) and some posts on GN'R Central that have been since deleted (few of them have been archived), the threads on mygnrforum can be used as reference for the timeline.
