A GN'R Reunion?
Guns N' Roses will probably never come closer a reunion than this: Slash, Duff, and Izzy have been working together in the studio for the first time now since 1991. Izzy who recently released a new solo album "117 Degrees" (on which Duff appears), says: "We had really fun together". The shy guitarist Stradlin' also revealed that he 2 years ago did send about 18 songs to Axl, that Axl wanted to use on the new GN'R album. "Thereafter his lawyers sent me a letter, they wanted me to give Axl the rights for these songs. Fuck you! Use the songs if you want, but leave the lawyers out of this", Izzy says. Anyhow he could still think about a real reunion. "It's nothing I've really been thinking about, but if they'll ask me, why not?
At the same time Axl's manager confirms that the ex. Nine Inch Nails guitarist, Robin Finck, has definitely taken Slash's place as the lead-guitarist in GN'R, and a new album is expected to come out during 1999.
