Guns N' Roses to tour Canada in January

It's official: Guns N' Roses are hitting the road. The band will tour North America - as in Canada - beginning 13 January 2010 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and ending in Halifax, Nova Scotia on 4 February.

Guess Axl likes those warm months, huh?

News of a possible Canadian run began leaking last week, and today MusicRadar contacted Live Nation in Canada, whose reps confirmed the dates as part of 'Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy World Tour.'

Why it's taken close to a year to put together a tour for an album that slipped off the charts six months ago is anybody's guess. But that's just the way Axl Rose rolls, it seems.

Some of the dates are posted on Live Nation's website, while others appear on Ticketmaster. ca's site.

The earliest presale is in two days (21 October). General admission floor seats and reserved seats in the stands are available; prices range from $49.50 to $89.50 Canadian before service charges.

As previously reported by MusicRadar, Guns N' Roses are booked to play select dates in Southeast Asia in December.
