Hot on the heels of their Rock In Rio performance, Axl Rose's new line-up of Guns N' Roses will be playing more European tour dates over the summer. These dates are seemingly being booked to support their upcoming album, Chinese Democracy, although no release date has been scheduled. The band made their debut at The House OF Blues in Las Vegas on January 1st and followed up with a headlining appearance at Rock In Rio for a Better World Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Sunday, January 14th. The reaction by both audiences that witnessed the performances was nothing short of over the top elation. Axl and his new band - Buckethead, Robin Finck, Tommy Stinson, Paul Tobias, Dizzy Reed, Chris Pittman, and Brain - debuted several brand new songs from the new album, including "The Blues," "Silkworms," "Rhiad & The Bedouins," and the title track.
Guns N' Roses have now announced several other Euro dates to get the buzz going. The biggest of these appearances are two huge festival dates, the Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals, which take place between June 1st and 3rd in Germany. Limp Bizkit will appear at these massive shows. Another gig will be in Holland at Arnhemse's Geldredome on June 23rd. There is rumored to be a U.K. summer tour in the works…
