I'm not a very active member of Nightrain community and I can't advise you whether to become a member. I did it because of my love for the band :-)). It's cool when you get gifts like t-shirts, cards and other things, but I can't say that I have received any other benefits for now :-)

The best benefit from Nightrain membership would be to receive a emailed newsletter or at least hints of new developments and then let community members who receive it spread the word or at least speculate on what it all means through forums like this one before releasing news through the regular music press.

That may not make good business sense but it would be cool.

I don't know. I couldn't bear to read the article. I have become so sensitive after becoming a dad. Before, nothing would affect me.
