Illusive words
GUNS N’ Roses guitarist Slash has taken a potshot at his singer and songwriting partner Axl Rose. Slash, busy promoting his sideline band Snake-pit, confirmed that Guns’ inactivity is a result of Rose and his legal wrangles with his former model girlfriend, Stephanie Seymour. “I knew she was bad news to start with,” Slash said. When asked how long it took to record the band’s pretentious Use Your Illusion double set, the guitarist quipped: “We did 36 songs in 36 days, and it took a year and a half for the vocals.”
