Guns N' Roses head to the South Island

Guns N' Roses fans south of the Cook Strait need no longer envy Auckland - the band has announced a Christchurch date to its Chinese Democracy World Tour.

Axl Rose and co. will play Westpac Arena on Tuesday July 3, following the band's two Auckland shows.

Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, June 5, via Ticketek agencies.

Guns N' Roses last toured New Zealand in 1993 and have never played in Christchurch.
