Members of Guns N' Roses play pocket show in Florianopolis
Ron Thal, Chris Pitman and Frank Ferrer present the Blowout project. The show takes place at Jurerê concert hall this Friday (22).
Members of the band Guns N' Roses are playing a pocket show in Florianópolis this Friday (22). Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal, Chris 'Mother Goose' Pitman and Frank 'ThunderChucker' Ferrer present the 'Blowout' project and perform covers of the likes of Led Zeppelin, James Brown and the Sex Pistols.
According to Chris Pitman, who conceived the project, the public will check out a “Rock 'n' Rave Party in Florianópolis. "Let's bring together Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, Guns, Sex Pistols, the Ramones and James Brown on the same stage, all placed in a modern context. People will surely know most of the songs,” said Chris.
Tickets for the pocket show can be purchased online and start at R$100 for women and R$300 for men.
The full band will begin a tour in Australia from March 9th. A concert at the Formula 1 GP in Malaysia on the 24th of March has also been confirmed.
