Just before clinching the championship, Lakers coach Phil Jackson with 14 friends and family enjoyed a big late meal at Smith & Wollensky in the Rittenhouse. How big a meal? The bill was $1,200, paid by a Jackson friend (who thinks 15 percent is an OK tip) ... The Jackson pal could take a lesson from Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose, also at S&W, who ordered a bottle of Dom Perignon to start off for his party of eight, ran up a tab of $900 and tipped $250. More than that, after dinner Axl gave the waiter a ride home in his limo! ...
