GUNS N' ROSES stars Axl Rose and Slash have been drawn into the bizarre suicide case of a tragic ex-­porn star.
 
Shannen Wilsey, who used the screen name of Savannah in a collection of sordid sex movies, died aged 23 after killing herself with a revolver. Now, stories of alleged relationships with the two GN'R mainstays are being dragged up once again.
 
Before she died, Shannen was quoted in a US supermarket magazine, claiming that she had slept with superstar singer Axl Rose. Reports of her conquests were again printed last week in the Daily Mirror, including the tale that Shannen had awarded Axl just one out of 10 for his sexual prowess.
 
She is alleged to have said that the singer was the worst lover she had ever had, and insulted him with implications that his physique was disappointing and his bedside manner non­existent. She then claims to have dated Slash, who - by all accounts - fared considerably better.
 
The reports come hot on the heels of a damning cover story in America’s People magazine (as detailed in last week’s Kerrang!), in which it is revealed that two of Axl's old flames are suing him for his alleged abusive behaviour.
 
Meanwhile, Guns drummer Matt Sorum is reported to have been sentenced to 10 days' imprisonment after appearing in court on ‘wife-beating’ charges. The band’s record company, Geffen, was unable to confirm this, or reveal if the drummer had yet served his sentence, as Kerrang! went to press.
