In the latest episode Hot Press Classics, Paul Nolan breaks down the brilliance of Led Zeppelin’s 1973 classic Houses Of The Holy. The Hot Press Contributing Ed examines the album’s stylistic eclecticism, Zep’s unique melodic flair and the phenomenal musical chemistry between Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham.
Elsewhere, the episode examines Led Zeppelin’s remarkable quality control throughout their career, their massive impact on music and culture, and how their legacy extends into the 21st century.
