Axl Rose has given fans an update on his health following the cancellation of their Glasgow show.
The Guns N' Roses frontman was forced to pull out of the band's show at Glasgow Green on Tuesday due to health concerns. Thousands of fans were left disappointed when the show was called off days after Red Hot Chili Peppers cancelled their show at Bellahouston Park for the same reason.
Axl Rose has now spoken out for the first time since the show was called to apologise to the Glasgow fans. The singer confirmed he was 'resting' with the help of a 'vocal coach'.
He said: "We apologise for the inconvenience of postponing Glasgow. I’ve been following doctor's orders, getting rest with a vocal coach and sorting out sound issues.
"Seems good so far. Thanks again for everyone’s concern.
“At the end of the day it’s about giving you the fans the best of ourselves and the best time we can give you and that’s all I, the band and crew are focused on. See you in Munich.”
