Not really, sorry it's been unclear. The brewery is called Berg Bier, it's only one brand of beer called "Ulrichsbier".

OK. Still not bad. So Yourself, Duff and Former US Prez Jimmy Carter's notorious brother Billy all have something in common. I can't think of any more people with beer brands named after them. At least yours doesn't suck. Duff's is only in cartoons?
I never tried Billy Beer - I was only 11 years old when it was around. My father was a beer snob and only had an occasional German beer especially May Bock's and Octoberfest limited batches and I told him it smelled like skunk pee.

Well it wasn't named after me to be honest (apparently there was a "St. Ulrichs Party" or something)...
Maibock can be nice if you enjoy darker beers!

Trond, yes. And "heim" means "home", so it is very fitting

Uli should know the meaning of heim. He is German and contrary to Norway, in Germany you have like 200 cities and villages ending with 'heim'.

Linguistically, Heim is also close related to my local Limburg dialect word for home.

Yes, indeed the word "heim" is basically the same in german.
But sometimes it's also a name, e.g. in our school was a teacher named Mr. "Heim".

Money is low, weather is awful (grey & cold in mid May).
Not everything is bad, but I think tomorrow's going to be a better day (more sunny at least). Will have some wine later, so the day is going to end nicely I hope...

It's a national holiday here today, and the weather's been nice with 24 degrees. Sitting on my porch drinking beer and talking with family. Nice day so far.

As expected, I think today is a much better day than yesterday.

YES! just remember you asked for it. I often type posts stream-of-conciousness style and then prune them down so I don't get known for writing meandering essays in the forum so that no one bothers to read them. I've got a bit of a problem, maybe because my invisible friends in forums can't interrupt me when I am talking..... but for Walking Papers I will not hold back.

I plan to bring cd case for Walking Papers and one I am going to make for my copy of Beautiful Disease and a sharpie just in case I can get some autographs. I'm not much of a collector of that sort of thing and I've never been to any kind of meet n' greet thing but I would especially love Duff's scrawl on a homemade Beautiful Disease cover and Barrett is my new favorite drummer so I don't want to miss any opportunity.

Just finished with two weeks of diseases! Back to work!!

Ouch. We had a large car repair bill earlier this year, too. Our car has run 100k now and we changed some parts in the engine.

My car is quite old (end of last century), hope I can drive it for 2 more years or so...

And now I think the same, upon hearing the rumour that Walking Papers' gig in Munich is being cancelled. (Only a rumour so far, but if true I'm sure Ingolstadt will be off too.)

The dates are still on their FB page - I hope you get to go. Three members of fan messageboard for Izzy Stradlin, shuffleitall.proboards.com have seen Walking Papers at club gigs and all said they were fantastic.

I don't know, this week had nice, hot weather and all, but it still sucks big time.
(Of course it was way too late to plan any kind of travel to Frankfurt.)

Only 8 more shows to add and the show database will be complete
