No no no. Don't hate him at all. I was just a bit disappointed when I really dived into Queen's discography -- I probably hoped more would be like their best songs, which are really good.

If you are talking about the 80's era I can't say I disagree because it was cheesy. I like their 70's era albums and Innuendo (1991) and Made in Heaven (released after Freddie died)

Yeah, I think it is the 70's ear I prefer. Like much music, the 70's were better than the 80's Smile.

Both decades were great although I prefer 80's heavy metal and it was the golden decade for pop music
