Sounds very healthy except for the smoked and rotten salmon!

I hate fish in general lol.

Yes, degraded by microorganisms but in a controlled fashion so that there are no pathogenic bacteria present nor any toxic compounds.

I think it'd be good with a stout because is dark and more rich but not with a regular light horse piss beer.

The only way to know for sure is to try and see for yourself.

On Friday me and kiddo tried sushi for the first time. He loved it, I wasn't that excited (not much into fish) but it wasn't bad for sure.

Only had sushi twice in my life and didn't like it. i dont understand why is so expensive though its ingredients are easy to find and affordable so why does sushi have to be so damn expensive!!!

Perhaps it's a combination of being really trendy food and having high demands for cleanliness which drives the prices up?

I used to eat sushi for lunch all the time here at work, but then I got fed up with it.

Isn't it prepared in some special way? As far as I know the fish is raw.

Yes, it usually is. And that's why the cooks must pay a lot of attention to cleanliness.
