I tested my vocal range using the guidelines from here: http://www.singwise.com/cgi-bin/main.pl?section=articles&doc=DeterminingVocalFach and using a piano, it turns out I am a bass with a vocal range of E1-B4.

There is another workshop in Trondheim in April. I might go, although I'm not sure yet if I can go, let alone if I will be accepted.

What Im thinking? why on earth were not having the gift of a DOUBLE ALBUM with all those amazing songs that are called to complete de CHINESE DEMOCRACY TRILOGY. By now Bach said we´d have the 3rd sequel. We even didnt have the 2nd! Hope negotiations are OK and the company doesnt screw any plans for 2013!! ROCK ON!

I couldn't agree more. When do you think we will get to hear new songs then?

I'm thinking that since Ron Thal has stated that his favorite GNR album is the next one (in frustration) that any new song ideas he has that are slamming he will be more and more inclined to save them for his post-GNR projects. Ditto everyone else in the band.

TO SOUL MONSTER: About new music, Ive read there´re 2 albums in different state of completion. Probably they have so much material recorded that they have to choose a good selection (that makes sense) from the CHINESE ERA plus some new songs written by DJ and company so they feel they are part of it. That I guess It´d be fair. The only confirmation of Axl saying "Its our main priority" means the ALBUM PROCESS is on the table at least. With AXLS TIMINGS that could mean NOVEMBER 2013 or first quarter 2014. For me Im so anxious Id like a DOUBLE before Australia but thats just a dream.

Reading the numbers, STATISTICS says Guns N Roses puts an original ALBUM every 5 years (we are about to begin the 5th). More numbers,
LIES, SPAGHETTI, LIVE ERA AND CHINESE were released in NOVEMBER, 3 of them the 23rd!!

This been said next November 23rd will make all matches for GNR behaviour!!

I am more inclined to believe in a 2015 release, just based on prior slowness. I am hoping you are correct, though. Are you going to any shows in Australia?

I am going to BIO Convention 2013, it takes place 22-25. April. I will probably leave two days before and return on the 26.

Well, I will arrive on the 24th and the workshop is until the 26th which is a friday. I have the weekend + the monday and tuesday afterwards as vacation days, so I can stick around for a while after the workshop.

Escape on business trips. That's what my brother does - he loves it. He has visited more sections of the U.S. and taken in some cuisine and sites every chance he gets because there is so much variation in both, just within U.S.

Once (before the euro) I went to Paris for 10 days. For 10 days I was glamorous.
Paris and it's people are very charming.

I haven't been to Paris, or France at all. I am too much of a family man to really enjoy my business trips. The best part of my life is coming home to my wife and daughters. It might not be glamorous, but it is damn good.

While the ocassional trips are nice and often interesting, the far majority of the time I'm just on a computer working on my research. Not quite always so glamorous.
