"Insider knowledge?"  How is that?  You mean "inside" the incestuous goings-on of the singer who scant few paid any attention to while Slash, Duff and Sorum were winning Grammy Awards?  That insufferable few in America who acknowledged--other than to flip the finger--for a quarter century?

No, what I meant is, why should I not dismiss your ramblings as just, well, ramblings? For once you make a concise statement, that in "the upcoming months will find you with new tunes released by UMG on your playlist" and I want to know why I should believe you and not just consider this at best a rumour, and at worst just attention-seeking behaviour.

@JustanUrchin

You were asked to be respectful and avoid insults and ad hominem attacks, including calling Beta a "nanny."

But you obviously don't want to do that, so this place is not for you.

Goodbye.

Rumor has it that Mr. Uchin’s been BANNED and so forth. The scandal. The intrigue. But is censoring and blocking for fact-posting even an actual thing in 2019? I trust that there’ll be resolution. One way or another.

Rumor likewise has it that Corporal Upham’s site is positioning itself as the go-to for ‘recent developments.’ a-4-d.com broke the ‘news’ last spring of the long-since recorded general partnership album. a-4-d.com posted last spring that the recordings were finalized, and, in fact, that Slash’s amp at the residence of the world’s Most Dangerous Pianist was but a ruse.

Scroll up into this very thread. Mr. Urchin, in fact, likewise posted in this very thread that yinz’ll be listening to the three partners’ new tracks on your device at least three days prior to Corporal Upham’s site.

Those persons active elsewhere in ForumLand may do well to link to this thread and its proclamation some six-months ago that the new album is in the can and awaiting the forthcoming UMG proper promotion.

Yes, you can read it above, also mentioning why he was banned - nothing to do with censorship. Guy couldn't shut his mouth and avoid insults. End of story. Cool

Slash’s publicly-available averments during his divorce proceeding—specifically the asset disclosure—account for his advances from Vivendi/UMG.  It is public, factual evidence that he has recorded with the aligned two Remaining, Original Gn’R Partners.

But I don't think so. It's just that they both know they'll need each other to make another GN'R album (or single, who knows what they'll be doing)...
Duff obviously got his amp in shape already. XD

So, now all we need to know: is there trouble with UMG/Vivendi? Will they release anything the band deliver? Or will there be need for new negotiations, a new recording contract maybe? Blanco

I expect a link to photos or video of Slash in Malibu (if that is an actual place).  At any moment.

The singer’s jawn—secured from y-o-u-r back pocket—ain’t dense like Metropolitan Avenue in Brooklyn.  Williamsburg, raise ya.

This shit, rumor has it, “is legit” as legit gits.  Or simply gargle.  Then spit.  Scroll up in the present thread.  ForumLand will be back for another bite at the apple.  In this very thread.  Trust me.

If I’m to git to ‘the dilemma’ re the recordings (scroll up) of the Gn’R Partnership vis-à-vis (that’s french for go fuck yourself Gimp) one individual Partner’s fuckups with Vivendi-UMG-Grainge—Azoff (now Mr. LiveNation)—Iovine—and Gilhuly in his solo band and how it affects the shit people want to know about, then rather than blow smoke up my ass, let’s advance the discussion.  I don’t play grabass.  Git straight on the relevant facts.

Word is out.  And a-4-d.com is where the action is.  For the foreseeable future, anyhow.

Still, I'm interested in the UMG/Vivendi situation.

Ok, so now "we know" about the General Partnership of the "Original Partners". According to you, those are "goods nowhere to be found in Forumland" (be that as it may, I can't tell, as my personal view of "Forumland" is rather limited to only very few sites).
Still, I'm not sure what to make of it. Does it "help" us in any way? Ok, maybe we can make more sense of what has been said in various interviews, but ... on the whole: does it change anything for us as GNR "fans"?

“[D]oes it change anything for us as GNR ‘fans’?”

Is that a trick question?

Forget about the financial desperation and irrelevance (at best) prompting the singer to make a prudent biz move—his first of which I am aware—the moment that he began voting with the other two general partners changed everything.  The unleashing of Original Gn’R assets—synch, licensing, and Gn’R marks (“merch”) and copyrights is enormous bank.  The gate alone places NITL squarely at, or very near, the top of highest grossing in history.  What, a half of a billion?  That’s a long way from a solo band playing (bad) AFD covers at Brooklyn Bowl.  The AFD boxset.  The recording of new music.  The upcoming release of new music.  More scheduled touring.

And let us not forget that the three partners voted to do it the right way from the jump:  to reunite not just the Remaining, Original partners but to include the two other original partners.  An actual reunion to tour, arguably, the baddest rn’r album in history.  Greed and injury resulted in a far different service at the Troubadour and thereafter, true.

By all measures, the GnR GP needs a convoy of Brink’s trucks to transport its loot.  And it has new material to release, to boot.  And a scheduled tour.  That’s verifiable, real-world shit—cause and effect.  But why do I not think that is what you meant by your question?  Or, maybe, I don't understand the question?

The "new" S/D/A recordings were disclosed in this very thread months ago.

For those following this thread for non-nefarious purposes, the upcoming months will find you with new tunes released by UMG on your playlist.

And now? What's that to do with the banning of Mr Urchin, who was banned because of "name-calling", as mentioned above by an Admin.

Did you need him to confirm your prediction of the new material, or what? Suspect

Rumor has it that little Lebowski (if that is an actual name) is firebombing ForumLand while five-finger discounting this thread.  Flattered though I am, the mimicry is, at best, B minus-ish and with all the subtlety of firing Tomahawks at The Man That Corrupted Hadleyburg.

Rumor likewise has it that there is a revelation, of sorts, in this otherwise banal batch of links and grabs and “private” messages and what not.  I ain’t through it all, but I fail to see any.  Save for rampant plagiarism giving way to further plagiarism, including in thread titles by those not named little Lebowski (if that is an actual name).

The aim of the present thread (from the reader’s perspective) is to de-bullshit and de-myth ForumLand and, in doing so, rely upon unassailable primary authority, all (or nearly all) of which is public but a good chunk of which requires explanation.  It is all here.  And you won’t find it elsewhere.

You want actual news of the new album that pre-dates (by months) the reactive, sideways ‘proclamations’ of wannabes, including the paid skeezy variety?  Scroll up.

You want to understand the Guns n’ Roses General Partnership with its Brink’s trucks in tow as distinguished from the singer’s failed solo venture, scroll up.

You want to understand the actual power structure of this GP, derived from the partnership voting provisions that have prevailed for nearly three decades, scroll up.

You want to understand copyright versus bootlegging, and what you can do about it, scroll up.

You want to understand marks, both trade and service, and who owns the Gn’R service mark, scroll up.

You want to understand why Slash and DMoney give published interviews on the regular while the World’s Most Silenced Singer is just that, scroll up.

You want to…as you may’ve guessed I could go on for not quite days about scrolling up.  There is exactly zero which I’ve been forwarded about this firebombing that is substantive.  And I doubt that there’ll be.

Dayum.  Shit just got real.

Late word has it, and I’ve verified it with my own eyes, that little Lebowski is an apt pupil.  And, apparently, much more.

As an aside, and nothing for nothing, but if I’m the one packaging links, “private” messages and whatnot, I’d place the substantive ones at the top regardless of first-in-time.  Da fuq.

Mr. Urchin (who I’d guess that @soulmonster and those similarly-situated are gittin straightened out) and his crew got the whole privacy front covered.  Such is posted in the present thread—or within general proximity.  This falls into the “other” category of actual developments that are unknown to ForumLand but that which are a scrot hair from changing the face of ForumLand as you—as in the plural--know it.

As an homage, we’re gonna change little Lebowski’s name to §.  If no one objects, that is.  Prince Nelson the flamer, no less, adopted the “artist formerly known as” symbol.

So, the fetid story goes, ForumLand’s chief propagandist re the singer’s roundly-rejected solo band’s 20 year-old demos manufactured a ruse about a storage unit and attributed said unit to Mr. Zutaut.  And, it seems, yinz know the fabricated story from said point.

The dude that § rick-rolled folded like a lawn chair and initiated unsolicited used-car salesman techniques via “private message” on her.  I just had eyes-on those “private” messages.

While the direct evid—, er, I mean, “data points,” that she presents are cumulative, it is indeed revelatory.

How’d this be, Mr. Billy Buckner Brasky:  “i dindu nuffin” is at the top of the exchange, four consecutive § symbols followed by your assertions of “whois” and of her location despite no less than six different locale log-ins?

Substantive, indeed.  Particularly in light of damn near 140k views, 10+k views after § interjected herself.

Enough to motivate a dude to un-retire from ForumLand posting.  Or is it un-un-retire?  Don’t call it a comeback.

“It is an honest town once more, and the man will have to rise early that catches it napping again.”

Any reference to “Lebowski,” given that she thieved from this thread, regardless of intention, is a direct reference to me and the present thread.

On behalf of @soulmonster and those that assist him in facilitating this site (while indexing an unparalleled virtual card catalogue of all things Gn’R-related), I cordially invite you, Mr. Bill Brasky, to an uncensored, no fear of BANNING summit of sorts on a-4-d.com at your convenience on the time and day of your choosing.  High noon works for me.  It always does.

It’ll be just like band camp.  Promise.

And we wouldn’t want to disappoint the anticipatory audience, thus a trailer—a sorta coming attraction, if you will:

Prior to “i dindu nuffin,” in your unsolicited “private” message to §, she specifically stated to you that “you have nothing that I want or could offer.”  You then proceeded with a “whois” ’88 Chrysler New Yorker sales pitch—including naming me—prior to revealing her geographical location.  Nothing for nothing, but on what legal authority would you have access to her IP location(s), particularly in real time?  § then provided you Mr. Lessard’s LinkedIn, and cautioned you that “he is no joke.”

Am I right, or am I right?

You’re pissing up the wrong tree.  And yer late to dinner.

We all—me included—expect to git our money’s worth (first round tap outs are the domain of goldbrickin N’Englander boys), so I advise practicing as if your rep is on the line with your exiled “source” prior to the showdown.  The very “source” that I sent packing from ForumLand three years back to the warmth, familiarity and stench of that canadian pit of putrefaction.

But come one, come all.  It’ll be entertaining, no questions asked.  And revelatory.  We’ll learn all about the Gimp, Cuffy, and da Chairman—and others.  Trust me.

@FromHell

You keep posting stuff from and about other forums, referring to people cryptically and even referencing private conversations between members of those forums - although you've been asked repeatedly not to do all this.

And now you've gone as far as speaking on this forum admins' behalf and inviting people for a "debate" over here "fear of banning". This at our discretion, not yours, and we don't want this debate here. There are more suitable places for your purposes, like GNR reddit. Maybe you should take it there.

Besides, I think there's no reason for this thread to continue. You said everything you had to say about the GP etc. and you keep referencing your previous posts. So I'm going to lock it.
