GN'R nominated for Best Event at the 2016 Kerrang! Awards

Biffy Clyro have landed two nominations at the 2016 Kerrang! Awards, while the return of Slash and Duff McKagan to Guns N Roses in Las Vegas is up for Best Event.

Biffy Clyro are also competing in the Best Event category thanks to their live comeback at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay celebrations on the eve of 2016, while they’re up against Bring Me The Horizon, Iron Maiden , Enter Shikari and Asking Alexandria for Best British Band.

“There’s no category you look at and think, ‘Yup, Guns N’ Roses are going to walk away with that’, and I think that’s testament to just what a strong rock scene – globally, and closer to home – we exist within right now,” Kerrang! editor James McMahon comments.
“It’s going to be a bloodbath. Many brilliant bands are going to go home disappointed.”
