Interviewer: Hello, nice to meet you!

Izzy: Hi.

Duff: Hi!

Izzy: Hello, hello.

[Interviewers talk in Japanese]

Interviewer: So we understand you’re coming here in Japan for the solo tour for Izzy, and what kind of live are we expected to see pretty soon?

Izzy: What kind?

Interviewer: Mmm-mmm. What’s gonna be like?

Izzy: Straight rocking on set and we’ll do some cover songs, by the Ramones and... It’s pretty kicking. It’s pretty kick away, and we played Yokohama the other night and [it was] just great, just... they really rocked. Just awesome.

Duff: Yeah, I think by – the gig that’s coming up there, it’s gonna be our third gig, so we’re starting (?) It’s pretty rocking, you know?

[Interviewers talk in Japanese]

Interviewer: So last Thursday you came here in Japan, right?

Izzy: Right.

Duff:  Yeah, right.

[Interviewers talk in Japanese]

Interviewer: So we heard that Duff had a chance to hang out with one of the rockstars around here in Japan.

Duff: Well, I didn’t even know that.

(Laughter)

Izzy: (?)

Interviewer: Well, tell us about it.

Duff: Well, I’ve never – I didn’t know he was a big rockstar. I met him in L.A. last week. So J from Luna See, it is – I don’t know if you have his solo record, too. Do you got the solo record of J’s? It’s great. It’s really good. Good guy, nice guy, we hung out in Tokyo basically every night we were there, you know? He came to the gig and... that’s that.  

[Interviewers talk in Japanese]

Interviewer: So while Duff was having fun, what were you doing, Izzy?

Izzy: (Laughs) Oh, (?) a lot of TV set and... No, I kicked around, I got out with there with (?), I had a pick down there, and we’re shooting a lot of video over here. You know, we’re gonna try to put some sort of like short movie together - you know, my Japan tour. And... just kicking around (?)  

[Interviewers talk in Japanese]

Interviewer: So when do we see the small movie of yours (?)

Izzy: Well, when we go back, we’re gonna try to just, you know, put it together and see what we have.

Duff: It’s really great footage, I think, you know?

Izzy: Yeah...

Duff: It’s cool for me, because I get to watch – I’m in the band, but I’m also objectively get to watch it. I mean, it’s Izzy’s band, you know? And I think the footage I’ve seen with Izzy in and all of us, it’s gonna be a cool little – whatever it’s gonna be.

Izzy: Yeah, we’re trying to pick bits and pieces, too, from Japan. You know, it’s really interesting.

Duff: (?)

Izzy: It’s great over here. I love being over here. It’s just... it’s a real treat, the food and everything.

[Interviewers talk in Japanese]

Interviewer: We hope to see this picture.

(Laughter)

Izzy: Oh yeah, there he is.

Duff: Alright, alright.

Interviewer: It’s you, yeah.

Izzy: Yeah, there he is.

(Laughter)

Interviewer: Okay, you guys, we’re running out of time. We have to go to the studio and prepare, okay? So why don’t you introduce the last song and sit by it.

Izzy: This last song here is called Ride On, and goodbye to the people.

[Talk in Japanese – laughter – Izzy and Duff cheering]

Izzy: Oi! Oi! Oi!

According to setlist.fm, Izzy only played one show in Japan. Is this correct or is setlist.fm missing most of the shows from this tour?

Izzy played four shows in Japan. The interview must have been on the day of the Osaka show, because Izzy says they played Yokohama "the other day", that's how I figured the date.

Thanks, I was a bit worried the tour had collapsed already after just one show.

Yeah, they mention in the interview that it would be their third show, so from the interview it stems that they played at least two
