I was there. Any idea how to find out if any pictures of this gig exist?

Hi Haggis, welcome to the forum!

I am afraid I can't help you with pictures. I've been looking myself but can't find any.

But there's another thing that bugs me about this show: the incomplete setlist. Since you were there, do you remember what songs were played and in what order? Anything else you remember from the show you could tell us?

Thanks!

Review in the Calgary Herald, May 28, 1988:

1988.05.27 - Olympic Saddledome, Calgary, Canada 1988_022

Transcript of the part about GN'R:
James Muretich wrote:[...]
Meanwhile, the opening act Guns N’ Roses proved it’s the latest member of the bad boys’ club of rock, snarling and swearing their way through a sweaty set of hard-rockin’ numbers as well as turning Bob Dylan’s Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door into a gritty and gripping ballad.

The group’s fondness for the ’F’ word and calling anyone who annoyed them "faggots” proved its members are low on brain cells, but its music had the kind of true grit that’s a welcome blast from rock’s naughty past.
